Over the years I’ve used various combinations of effects pedals both live and in the studio. This is the latest incarnation of my “acoustic pedalboard” (although I’ve been using it with my electric guitars lately). It’s a project that I started last year and just put the final tweaks on it last week. I’m really happy with how it turned out. Great sounds, super clean and really versatile. I’m planning on using it live for the first time later this week.
Radio!
Next Friday (2/21) @ 4pm I’ll be playing live on KKUP 91.5 FM. It’s a really cool local radio station that I’ve been wanting to play on for a while now. I’m looking forward to doing the show and hope you can check it out!

Video!
Thanks to Tony Stray for posting these videos of me playing at the Red Rock Open Mic on his YouTube channel!
Bazaar Cafe
Played at the Bazaar Cafe Open Mic tonight and had a good time. Very unusual environment- no sound system, no covers (original songs only) and super quiet (no espresso machine going crazy while during performances). Great place for being heard in the most natural way. Nice vibe with cool people hanging out.
19 Broadway Open Mic
After playing at the Sweetwater we headed over to 19 Broadway in Fairfax. We got there just as they were starting their open mic. It’s a cool place with even cooler people. Special thanks to Derek Smith for being such an awesome host and making us feel right at home. Also thanks to Lawrence and Dave for playing percussion on Marakech and Moroccan Sunrise. Thanks to Rachel for the great photo!
